Jeopardy has announced that both executive producer Mike Richards and neuroscientist/actor Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) will serve as the long-running game show’s new hosts. The decision to select two hosts is part of the studio’s plans “to extend the Jeopardy franchise to new platforms.”

“We are thrilled to begin the next chapter of America’s favorite quiz show with Mike hosting our daily show and Mayim hosting new versions of Jeopardy,” said Ravi Ahujga, chairman of global television studios and corporate development for Sony Pictures.
